Did you know that Woodridge is a part of the Miller Grove Cluster? Would you like to hear about the great things happening in our Miller Grove Cluster of schools? Well join us this Friday at the Kroger at DeKalb Medical Parkway and Covington Hwy. During this time, the leaders of Woodridge, Panola Way, Miller Grove MS, and Miller Grove HS, will be sharing information and giving out resources to the parents who we meet. Please stop by our tables this Thursday from 9 AM – 11 AM at the Kroger on DeKalb Medical Parkway and Covington Hwy.

DCSD Technology Competition- Dare to Dream: The Future is Now

DCSD’s Technology Competition Vision is to promote technology skills through competition with the goal of challenging students to become digital leaders in the 21st Century. The DeKalb Technology Competition provides great ways to highlight students’ technology knowledge. Students are able to demonstrate creativity and practice their presentation skills while receiving constructive feedback from judges. First Place winners in the competition will automatically qualify to participate in the State Technology Competition which will be held at the Academy for Advanced Studies, March 14, 2026.
 
Location: The 2025 Technology Competition will be held IN-PERSON
at McNair Middle School (2190 Wallingford Drive, Decatur, GA)  
Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026.

World Planning Day

We are pleased to share information about the upcoming World Planning Day, a global celebration that highlights how good planning improves our lives and benefits society—creating vibrant places to live, work, and play.

This event is hosted by ENGAGE DeKalb and will take place on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Rainbow Drive Amphitheatre (3181 Rainbow Drive, Decatur, GA 30030).
There will be a variety of engaging activities for you and your family to enjoy, and we encourage you to participate and celebrate this important day.
